The Pope presides at Mass at the Gemelli and thanks the staff

🔴 Pope Leo XIV celebrated Mass at noon in the room set up on the tenth floor of the Gemelli, attended by off-duty doctors and nurses and the Vatican Gendarmerie: for the first time he presided rather than concelebrated, and he thanked the staff. According to Tv2000 he is "in good spirits" and, as Rai News reports, on Wednesday he watched Roma-Real Madrid on TV. The expected length of his hospital stay is unchanged: "The doctors have not changed that timetable," the Press Office said. #LeoXIV
