Parolin: “positive signs”, no resignation letter

🔴 Pietro Parolin on Pope Leo XIV's health: “The signs we are seeing are undoubtedly positive signs,” “it was a successful operation,” and his convalescence is “perfectly in line with what the doctors predicted.”

A precautionary resignation letter? “No, no. Not that.” Rumours of a months-long flying ban are “just talk for the moment”: trips will depend on “how he comes out of hospital” and on the doctors' advice.

On the call with Putin: “It was the Holy Father who took the initiative” for the civilians of Oleshky. Will Putin agree? “I think so.”
