π Back at the window
Sunday brought Pope Leo XIV's first Angelus since his stay at the Gemelli Hospital, prayed at noon from the window of his study in the Apostolic Palace. The Pope thanked everyone who had prayed for him ("I have truly sensed your support. Thank you!") and the hospital staff, expressed his closeness to the sick and announced: "I will gradually resume my activities." No other events or changes followed in the afternoon.
π Plenary indulgence for World Mission Day
For the 100th World Mission Day, themed "One in Christ, united in mission", the Pope granted a plenary indulgence through a Decree of the Apostolic Penitentiary, under the usual conditions of sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and prayer for the Pope's intentions, Vatican News reports.
