L’attore americano Chris Pratt ha raccontato martedì 20 ottobre a NBC «TODAY», ospite di Carson Daly, l’udienza privata con Papa Leone XIV.
«He’s awesome. He’s great», ha detto del Pontefice. Sul tono americano del Papa: «Yeah, he’s an American dude. It was amazing. I think he’s a fantastic man.»
Sulle domande rivolte al Santo Padre: «I asked him how I could pray for him, and then I asked him a question about sort of grace on the fringes and how do you bring love to people while also sticking to the words of the Gospel. And he just gave me the most amazing answers.» Non ha riferito le risposte ricevute.
L’incontro risale alle riprese del documentario «Pétros Ení» sulla tomba di san Pietro (narrazione di Pratt, collaborazione Vatican Media e Fabbrica di San Pietro; anteprima alla Festa del Cinema di Roma il 16 ottobre).
