🌅 VATICAN REPORT | Sunday morning, 25 October 2026

Today at noon, in St Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV will recite the Angelus. The time is on the official vatican.va calendar. Overnight no new Bulletin was issued: the latest remains Saturday 24 October.
🙏 Angelus
It is the second Sunday the Pope appears at the window after his stay at the Gemelli. The Angelus text is not online yet: it will come with the live broadcast. On the official agenda for today, this is the only public engagement listed.
🩺 Unconfirmed report on therapy
Still open is the question raised yesterday evening by Mirticeli Medeiros (GloboNews), who cites Gemelli hospital sources and reports preventive immunotherapy with pembrolizumab for at least three years. On 21 October the Press Office, with Luigi Carbone and Stefano Margaritora, wrote that “no further therapy is necessary.” So far there is no Vatican comment on the report.
☦️ Bartholomew and Assisi
Bartholomew I, received by the Pope yesterday, continues his visit to Italy: Monday 26 in Loreto (Holy House, 10:30 a.m. according to the shrine) and Tuesday 27 in Assisi for Sant’Egidio’s “Peace without weapons, peace that disarms.” Pope Leo XIV will not be in Assisi: the Press Office said doctors advised against the helicopter journey; a message from the Pope will be sent.
